* THOUGHT -  "The Ultimate Technology"
In this 'Digital Age', we are surrounded with technology. Many people are spellbound by the power of computers. Admittedly, modern technology is amazing, but have you ever compared it to the age-old 'technology' called 'Life'?
If 'Life' were man made it would belch out noxious fumes, severely degrading the environment. It would always break, it wouldn't be as curvy and beautiful and we would be able to see the bolts or seams. It would consume lots of energy to manufacture it and of course, we would find it so difficult to use. Also it wouldn't do self-maintenance or reprogram itself or distribute and replicate itself. It may surprise you to compare even on very basic technical measures just how vastly more complex and incredible our own bodies are for example:
  • A top of the range digital camera takes its picture with around 2 million light sensors, one human eye has over 120 million.
  • The original Pentium processor had around 3.1 million transistors and its successor the Itanium has 320 million. (A transistor is the basic active component of a computer processor). The human brain has about 100 billion neurones (A neurone is the basic active component of a brain), and is, as far as we know, by far the most complex structure in the universe.
'Life' is the ultimate technology because it was made with the ultimate knowledge.
- Jeremiah 10:12 "But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding."
