* IN FOCUS - More FREE Bible Reading Courses
Our very successful Learn to Read and Understand the Bible courses have been run in local venues in Manchester for the past 4 years. The main course is a 6-week overview of the whole Bible. Many people have enjoyed the course and found it helpful, so much in fact that they've wanted to learn more. We have run many follow-on courses in the same local venues, in the same relaxed, no-pressure style as the main course, and for the same price - that is completely FREE!

The follow on courses are essentially a more in depth look at individual books or themes in the Bible, all the topics we've covered have been suggested by the students. So far we've looked at Genesis, Exodus, Revelation, Acts, Matthew's Gospel, Prophesy in the New Testament, Daniel, The last week in Jesus Life, Little letters (An assortment of some of the shorter letters from the new testament).

The course is currently running on Tuesday evenings Chorlton Adult Education Centre (see What's on section) if you'd like to know more just get in touch...
* THOUGHT -  "A Different Kind of Leader"
The country is in the middle of an election campaign in which each political party and its leader makes promises of actions they will take if they win. William Hague and the Conservatives promise tax cuts whilst Tony Blair and the Labour party promise a stable economy. Each party assures us that it is their policies, which will solve problems in the NHS, in education, in the environment and so on. However the public seems unimpressed. There is growing evidence that many people are disenchanted with politics and there has been a large fall in the number of those going to the polling stations. Many members of the public believe it won't make much difference who's in government.

But what if there was a leader who could deliver on all his promises, a leader who could solve all the problems not only in England but the world?

What if there was a leader who could dramatically improve your life, a leader who wants to know you, not for his own political agenda but because he cares?

What if there was a leader who had no corruption in him, who would (and already has) sacrifice his own life to improve yours?

Surely if there was such a leader you would vote for him. Well there is and his name is Jesus. Jesus Christ the Son of God is coming back to the earth to set up and rule over the Kingdom of God. Vote for him with your feet... follow him.

Look out for our forthcoming election campaign entitled "A Different Kind Of Leader", also keep an eye on our web site (www.OTChristadelphians.org.uk) during the election.
